Farmer's Note

I married into a tea planting business that struggled with finding tea factories who would honor our hard work. I soon started dreaming of creating my own organic tea garden and tea factory. In 2011, that dream came true when I acquired this land with no tea plants, no on-site water or electricity supply. The first five years were all investment, studying how our tea plants interact with the soil, building infrastructure that supports full organic farming methods, and improving tea making craft. We meticulously planted Chinese milk vetch around our tea plants to release more nitrogen that guarantees crop yield and enriches the soil. Ten challenging but immensely rewarding years later, I present to you this Zhangping Shui Xian, created with a great deal of patience, resilience, and pride.
