Farmer's Note

During the Tang Dynasty (Year 661), Zen Master Huiming traveled to Nanquan Mountain in Jingning and discovered wild tea growing in the mountains. He used it to treat villagers' illnesses and taught them how to make tea. Two hundred years later, the people, expressing their gratitude to Master Huiming, built a temple on the site, naming it Huiming Temple. The monks and local community plant tea around the temple, hence the name Temple Mist.

I come from a family of tea growers. Since I was a child, I've helped my family grow and produce tea. After college, I returned to my hometown, vowing to use more scientific methods to grow safer, more natural, and high-quality tea. My tea garden sits at an altitude of 800 meters. Our high plucking standard yields some of the most tender and bright tea leaves after steeping. I wish to live and work in Jingning for the rest of my life. I deeply enjoy this small town’s natural scenery and leisurely pace.
